Use of your image in marketing materials
We regularly take photos and short videos of course activities for use both as promotional material and in our eLearning system. Your student declaration (that you signed at the start of the course) gives your permission for these images and videos to be used in this manner, however we will not divulge any medical information without your express permission.
Your personal information
In order to provide all students with a safe online experience we use an electronic billing system called eWAY, which integrates with our client records system (Infusionsoft). eWAY works within the Infusionsoft interface and encodes your credit card and contact details to ensure their safe transfer and storage. In fact we cannot view your credit card details (we only get to see the last 4 digits of your credit card number). You can contact eWAY directly through their website at https://www.eway.com.au/. They are located in Brisbane, Australia.
We respect your privacy and personal information, and will never share any of your information with anyone else without your permission. We may use your email address to send our fascinating, informative and inspirational email communications and other announcements, however. Should you wish to be removed from our mailing list at any time, you can opt-out of email contact by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send you.
Your medical information
Medical information you share privately with your instructor in the context of a course session is confidential and will only be shared with other Breathe Education instructors as relevant for your safety and wellbeing (for example we may put a pop-up note in your profile to let all the instructors working with you know that you have a lower back injury, or that you are pregnant). These notes are not visible to the general public or other students.
Often, in the course of your training you will be working with fellow students to perform client assessment and Pilates teaching. For your own safety in this situation it is important that you share any relevant medical information with your fellow students, and any disclosure you or your fellow student make to each other in relation to your health situation must remain confidential unless express permission is given to share the information with others.
