I am about to finish studying my Certificate IV with Breathe. I was apprehensive about the online format of learning a movement practice, but the trainers, resources and format of the course made it an absolute breeze to work through everything and gain such a thorough understanding of concepts. I loved the way the information was presented and based on science based practices and the content covers everything from teaching, to movements, to how to begin your own business. Couldnt recommend this company as a pilates qualification enough!!

I'm from Switzlerand and so I was doing my course with 10 hours of difference with Australia. And do you know what? I've juste LOVED this online course. I truly believe that I've learnt as much as if it was face-to-face. The support of Breathe Education was so good! They're almost 24h available and helping with any questions. I feel confident and ready to get into the Pilates industry. It was the best journey I had so far and I enjoyed it so much that I've enrolled for the Diploma 2021. If you're interested into Pilates instructor, this is THE course you should take!!! Thanks Breathe!!!!

I have only the best things to say about the team at Breathe Education. I have come out of this course feeling confident, feeling successful and proud of what I have achieved - one step closer to becoming the Pilates instructor I want to be. The course is thorough and well planned, ensuring you will be able to do well in every assessment along the way. The trainers are super friendly and experienced, always willing to answer any questions you have along the way. One of the best learning experiences I have undertaken and I only encourage others to take their Pilates instructor training with Breathe Edu if they too want to feel empowered through such a supportive experience. Yeah... nah. I don’t see why anyone would want to learn from an entire team of ultra qualified, dedicated, not only knowledgeable but eager to share professionals? Every single person you will chat to along your course will make you feel welcome, heard and seen, from the moment you think of signing up. Annoying, right? And they keep up with the latest findings in Pilates practice but also in medical studies, so everything you will learn is the most up-to-date, accurate, backed up by science knowledge you can get.And don’t get me started on the community you get to build! Like-minded, supportive, kind and open people who want to make other people feel good! Ugh!Why would anyone want to see each week tutors that come every single time on screen with a huge smile and make you feel like they are so glad you are here? You think you like one teacher and BAM! Here comes the next one and you like them too, maybe even more because they’re bringing their own set of skills and they are willing to share that and teach you it too!And they’re nice. Not just “oh, this person sounds nice” kind of nice. The kind of nice that makes you say “you didn’t have to do that” and fills you with gratitude. The kind of nice that seeps through and you can FEEL what good humans are.So yeah, nah. 5 stars ain’t gonna be enough!

Just finished my diploma with breathe education and couldn't more satisfied and happier!I decided to change my career, and not having a fitness background, I was terrified in the start,scared about this new challenge and path. but all the teachers drove me all the way to the end,stimulating my critical thinking,trough evidence based,pain science with lectures , live master-classes and much more always ready to help,destroying some wrong myths and misconception ,f could go back i would do it again and again !definitely recommend!

After completing the Cert IV with Breathe a few years ago, I was so excited to study my Diploma with them too! I was nervous about the change to online learning due to COVID, however I soon discovered I had no reason to worry. The team at Breathe transitioned from face to face learning to online so seamlessly and the support available from all the amazing teachers, and also the student support team made switching to online learning a breeze. I am sad to be finished, but am leaving feeling more confident and empowered than ever before and that is all thanks to the amazing course provided, my peers, and of course the teachers and support staff! Thank you for everything! I can’t wait to put everything I’ve learnt into practice!

Breathe Education, what an amazing journey! Don't even consider studying anywhere else. The knowledge, skills, support and encouragement you get from your lecturers, masterclasses and practice sessions are second to none. It is unlikely that you will find the same anywhere else.Online training vs. face to face training - online will take your confidence, experience and your learning to a greater height. More than what could be achieved doing a few days of a face-to-face Pilates course and sitting exams.As an employer of Pilates instructors, I believe there is far more value in employing staff who have trained online vs. face-to-face alone. Instructors having completed online training are pushed to think and cue bodies without the ability to do 'hands-on assist'. They communicate differently and in some cases more effectively. They also transition to online training of clients with no trouble, because they are pushed to think outside the box when training online. This is an awesome skill to have as an instructor, one that can't be developed as well in a few days of face to face Pilates training alone.

Have now done my Cert IV and Clinical Diploma in Pilates with Breathe. Without doubt, the best value for money of anything I've ever spent money on. If you want to learn an evidence based approach to teaching Pilates and how to really help people to move fearlessly using knowledge of pain science and the original repertoire, this is the course for you. Incredible group of dedicated teachers, who inspire lifelong learning and what is actually proven science, as opposed to historical myths which dominate the industry. You'll come out of this course confident to teach anyone and help them live better lives. Could not recommend this highly enough, such a talented group of individuals led by the generous and immensely talented Raphael Bender.

What a GREAT experience! I feel confident going out into the world and teaching! I did the Cert IV and Diploma with Breathe Education and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this career. Breathe make choosing a new career possible for people like myself (a Mum of 3). It's flexible, you learn and watch different instructors who have the world of knowledge, it's interesting, factual and overall it is professionally run. Not only that, I met the most amazing people along the way and nobody judges you if you can't touch your toes! If you are thinking about it - GO FOR IT! Don't delay! I have just completed my Certificate IV Pilates course with Breathe Education, and it has been the most enjoyable, positive, informative, simplistic, professional course I’ve ever done! I feel very confident in all that I’ve learnt in this course and it’s all because of the wonderful tutors who have made this possible. I can honestly say that studying Pilates in the online space is possible and works extremely well. What an incredible experience completing my Cert IV in mat work and reformer pilates with Breathe Education!! The teachers are seriously second to none and the environment is incredibly comfortable. I signed up during the lockdown in melb for the cert 4 in matwork and pilates. Best decision i ever made.The online learning format is very flexible and the content of the course is life changing. You not only learn how to cue and teach pilates, but also many other skills that are transferable into your own practice and even everyday life. If possible i love pilates even more than when i signed up.If you love pilates, this course is for you.

Amazing company to be valued right from the beginning with ringing up to talk to someone about Breathe and their certifications. I enjoyed every single class and tutorial and lecture. We always had fun while learning and everyone was so nice to each other in the classes and practice teaching. The research is up to date which helped me to learn more after my other certifications with other companies in the past. Keeping up to date is imperative with my teaching and instructing at studios and fitness centers. The feedback from the teachers and the students was always positive and helped us learn from being hands on in the certification. The master classes a amazing. So we could practice at any time of the day with them being recorded, it helped me practice when I had different shifts at work. I would definitely recommend Breathe to people wanting to learn to become a Pilates instructor and Pilates teachers to improve and to learn more modifications with the at home reformer and just the mat Pilates with different exercises available from the Breathe teachers.

When I enrolled in this course, it was due to be delivered face to face over a number of weekends and I was so excited to meet new people and learn from the best in the industry. When covid hit, it moved online and I was reluctant to say the least. In fact if the amazing Lizzie hadn’t given me a pep talk when she sensed my motivation was fizzling out, I probably would have withdrawn. I’m so grateful Lizzie gave me that push because the course was better than I could have hoped for. The content is definitely engaging but the magic is in the delivery. Cloe and Raph are such incredibly skilled educators and they really know how to keep things simple while still cramming in a lot of incredibly important information (backed by the most current science) into every lecture and tutorial. At first I wasn’t sure how well it would work with two young kids hanging off me during lockdown but Cloe would just welcome them to the class and make them feel part of it all. It meant I felt comfortable and relaxed and could participate fully.The one thing that really surprised me though was the social connection! Everyone was so supportive and even though we weren’t face to face, we formed friendships easily and seeing everyone’s faces on my screen every week really helped during lockdown. Thank you to the whole team! Shout out to Heath, Belinda and Sharrman who I didn’t have every week but when I did, they were amazing. So much knowledge, kindness and passion in one team!

I've recently completed my Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork and Reformer with Breathe Education, and it has been the most wonderful experience. All the instructors and educators were engaging, enthusiastic and motivating. From the master classes to weekly tutorials, I found it exciting and invigorating to attend. I had been contemplating studying to be a Pilates teacher for years and had multiple recommendations from Pilates instructors to study through Breathe and I can honestly say it didn’t disappoint at all.The course was fun, informative, thorough and the lecturers were always so passionate and positive and open about everything. I loved my experience completing my Cert IV at breathe education. The team were so proactive and acted so quickly during the pandemic that I was able to complete my Cert IV, during COVID, all the way from my home in rural Northern Territory. The lecturers were down to earth and answered all my questions with grace and patience. I also wasn’t singled out for not having my own reformer, with modifications for a DIY version that felt super similar to the real thing (possibly harder!). I recommend this school to everyone who asks, would totally go back :)

What an incredible education experience. When I enrolled; I was nervous about studying a physical movement course online. And I couldn’t have been proven more wrong. I walked out of Breathe Education with my CERT IV in Pilates Matwork and Reformer ready to step straight into the industry and to undertake my own self employment. The confidence instilled in me by the evidence-based educational resources, incredible trainers and unique/effective practical teaching hours methods of delivery is not comparable. I am certain that my clients are in safe hands with this education behind me and continued mentorship going forward from the team. Highly recommend Breathe to anyone wanting to undertake a world-class, government accredited certification.

I cannot speak more highly of Breathe Education and the whole team of educators. I started my Cert IV in May, and the whole structure had been adjusted due to Covid. I feel Breathe created a program that suited everyone - and constantly made adjustments and improvements as the course went on to cater for the constant changes happening around us. Having access to so many educators was a BIG win for me doing this course during Covid - it allowed for a-lot of variety, and for me to learn many different styles of teaching. I cant wait to further my education with the options Breathe have available.

Very disappointed with Breathe, very unethical Education Centre. I booked the online course: Certificate IV in Pilates Matwork and Reformer November 2020 intake 45 days prior the course. To secure my spot I paid online $50 deposit. Due to my Injury I cancelled my enrollment (43 days prior the course) and they illegally charged my card of $549 to make their 10% of the course which is $599. When I contacted Melodie Johnson – Student Success Manager she didn’t believe me, I provided to her with my medical certificate, but she still was finding excuses to not to refund the money. It is so unethical to operate like that for an Australian business. Also, I have found they changed their refund policy by deleting this part at all. In original T&C it said they refund money in two cases: 1. Due to an injury 2. If member person’s family member dies. As it was an online contract, they just easily changed the Policy. I was reading it with my GF together, so she saw the old conditions also. I can’t believe a business which comes up as a first line in Google search operate like that. I am sure I didn’t take anybody’s spot by cancelling my enrollment 43 days prior the start. To me it looks like they don’t have enough students and they work the way they did to me on order to make their money. They obviously pay a lot of marketing fee to be the first source to come up and don’t refund anyway.I was new to the industry and I said it to the sale person – Peta Henning about it, she provided me with misleading information about the certification. They so actively advertised themselves as Australia’s only Government Accredited, that is correct, but a school not necessarily need to have that to teach Pilates , so students may work after that in all types of environment as Gym, Pilates studio or independent Instructor, so for those who isn’t in the industry very easy to trick. Peta was so pushy with to make her sale and said ‘tomorrow Is the last day to enrol’, that I don’t have a time for my proper research. Well it played a big role and I made my rush enrolment. Later on, just curiosity I made them a call again and enrolment was available even two weeks later. So don’t get cought on that Sale trick.For these many years of Breathe operating, they only taught 2000 student overall, what isn’t too many and their price a bit over charged, I recommend to do a proper search and don’t rush with signing up with them.I had to lodge a complaint with Fair Trading for that poor service and I had to dispute the illegal transaction with my bank, as I lost $599 and I lost my job due to the COVID.I am not sure what people are teaching in that Education Centre, but their sale and management teams are absolutely acting unprofessionally.

I keep coming back for Breathe Education courses, having completed the Cert IV Pilates Instructors course, the Anatomy 101 and other short courses and being now enrolled in the Clinical Pilates Diploma. As an experienced teacher I have high standards when it comes to education, and I have to say that Raph and his team do a great job of setting up the learning environment so it is effective and a pleasure to be part of! Online courses that have been developed by necessity this year are also impressive, with plenty of very practical demonstrations, supported by clear explanations and the opportunity for interactivity - thus they are excellent learning tools. Congrats to Raph and each one of your supporting team who have been doing such a great job of engaging with sensible, rational facts supported by relevant and current research and bringing the results to the lucky participants!

I was looking to gain a deeper understanding of anatomy so when I saw the course, Intro to Anatomy Physiology and Biomechanics, I thought I would try it. The weekly webinars are very educational along with the supporting materials that Raphael provides. I am a very tactile learner so I was apprehensive of doing an online class but Raphael has brought out his skeleton to demonstrate different certain points and again his powerpoint is simplistic. Thank you Raphael for providing this course.

I studied to become a Pilates Instructor with Breathe Education over 5 years ago now. My learning experience then was one I will never forget, the educators were so engaging and knowledgeable. The wonderful thing about Breathe Education is they don't stop offering assistance and advice once you have completed your course, they are there for you along the way. Since the completion of my course I have done numerous workshops with them and am currently doing a Live course on Zoom, Anatomy, Biomechanics & Physiology (seriously loving it!) which is run by Breathe Founder & CEO Raphael Bender. Raph knows his stuff, his knowledge astounds me, he is right across it all and shares this knowledge with such passion, explains things so succinctly and makes the learning experience such fun, you just want to soak up as much information as you possibly can. I've been working in Fitness for over 30 years including roles as an international trainer and presenter in Group Fitness. I hold a cert IV in fitness, and now a Diploma of Clinical Pilates - as well as a TAE. I'd completed pilates course prior to Breathe, but found Breathe deliver a more "whole - istic" (misspell intended) to pilates. What I love is that Breathe provide the science behind why they teach us the way they do, and show you how to research stuff for yourself. They encourage you to be curious, and to challenge rather than just accept. The level of course information is high, the faciliators professional and so giving of their time. Their courses prepare to you so well for success in many opportunites in the industry. I now work at Physiotherapists doing rehab work, as well as in studios teaching group classes, and my own small group of clients that I train one on one, or in small groups. But, I love that they show they care about you and your success way past completing your courses. I was recently given the opportunity to partake in the new anatomy content - for free as an already qualified Breather - and to be given the chance to upskill by Breathe was invaluable. Anatomy - whilst I love it - is tough to remember when you don't use it all the time, and this refresher and upate was timely and also, helped to geet my creative juices flowing in differnt ways. When people ask me who they should do their pilates course through, I always recommend Breathe.Thank you Raph and all the guys at Breathe.
